Block settings
Every block shares common settings for consistent design control, which we call General settings for Blocks.
General settings
| Setting name | Description |

| Layout and spacing | Adjust: Padding, Margin, Alignment, Width, Hide on mobile or not. |
| Appearance | Adjust : Color scheme, Background type, Border. |
| Typography | Adjust for text-based blocks: Text preset, Color, Color opacity, Line clamp, Highlight. |
| Animation | Global or custom animation. |
| Image block settings | Adjust for image-based blocks: Aspect ratio, Object fit options, Max width. |
| Button block settings | Adjust: Button preset, Variant, Open the link in a new tab, Icon. |
| Video block settings | Adjust: Video source, Autoplay and loop control, Cover image for the video, Video alt text. |
| Countdown block settings | Adjust: Timer mode, Days settings. |
| Block-specific settings | Some blocks have specific settings that you can only find on the sections. |

Not every block has all of these settings. The available settings depend on the block type. However, the Layout and spacing, Animation controls are available on virtually every block.
